1. How do you envision using art in your classroom?
I would like to be able to incorporate creative thinking and artistic expression to help students better represent their understanding and connections to the lessons I am teaching.
2. What do you know about integrated learning / integration?
I know that there are many different types of learners and integrated learning is a great way to be sure to present information in a way that is helpful to each type of learner in your classroom.
3. Rate your comfort level in making art, and discuss.

I would say my comfort level is at a two because I have a very creative mind full of creative ideas, but I do not have the artistic ability to represent them correctly.
4. Rate your comfort level in analyzing and talking about art, and discuss.

I feel fairly capable of talking about art because I do have that creative mind that is able to see and express my visual opinions in different ways.

1. How do you envision using art in your classroom?
I hope to integrate art into my classroom activities as often as possible. I think art is a great way to encourage deeper thinking about lesson topics, and let students make their own creative connections to each unit.
2. What do you know about integrated learning / integration?
I feel like I have learned a lot about integration throughout this semester, and something I have found is that art is one of my favorite subjects to integrate into lesson plans. Not only is art fun for students but it can be incorporated into most lessons in a beneficial way to students learning.
3. Rate your comfort level in making art, and discuss.

Throughout this course I have developed a much higher comfort level in creating art. While I still do see myself as full of artistic skill, I do think I have created a deeper understanding of how much art can vary across artists. I have come to realize that as long as I am making connections and developing a deeper understanding through my artwork, I am learning and that is something to be proud of.
4. Rate your comfort level in analyzing and talking about art, and discuss.

My initial comfort in analyzing and talking about art still remains true, but in addition to feeling comfortable expressing my artistic opinions, I do think that I have grown in my abilities. I have learned a lot about VTS, and how to appreciate others comments and share opinions appropriately.
